These relays are epoxy encapsulated for excellent corrosion protection, reduced noise and ground protection well into the thousands of volts. A bright red LED status indicator is standard on these models. Chemical resistant, shock resistant and requires less than 2 WATTS to operate. The use of low EMI components means the RelayCard V won’t introduce harmful emissions into your electrical system nor will it interfere with even the most sensitive control systems. Current RelayCard V models include 2 form C and 3 form C. All RelayCard connections are non-polarized, which means there are no positive and negative labels to follow. As an option the RelayCard V can be interfaced for control via TTL or CMOS. A TTL/CMOS compatible connector is added allowing interfacing with control circuits. Coil connections are replaced with battery positive and negative, all other connections remain the same. This option allows interfacing to a central computer system without replacing relays or rewiring locomotive electrical system. Custom configurations and models larger than 3 form C available.
